How was the relationship between Saif and Twinkle?
Despite her short career, Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia’s daughter Twinkle Khanna got the opportunity to work with some of the most prominent personalities of Bollywood in the six years following her debut in the 1995 film ‘Barsaat’. She has shared screen space with many influential stars including Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Venkatesh, Sanjay Dutt, Karisma Kapoor, Govinda and Monica Bedi. Notably, she also co-starred with Saif Ali Khan in two films, ‘Dil Tera Deewana’ (1996) and ‘Yeh Hai Mumbai Meri Jaan’ (1999). Twinkle recently revealed that she and Saif had a love-hate relationship, often frustrating each other while working together. Twinkle also narrated a funny incident from years ago. She said, on the sets of one of her films, when she playfully tried to kick Saif, he immediately moved out of the way, resulting in her leg hitting an iron rod and subsequently swelling. After the accident, Saif laughed a lot before taking Twinkle to the hospital.
