During a program in Nizamabad, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development projects worth about Rs 8000 crore in important sectors like electricity, railways and health. During this, the Prime Minister also inaugurated the first phase of the 800 MW plant being built under the Telangana Super Thermal Power Project of National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC). According to the Prime Minister (PMO) Office, through this, Telangana will get cheap electricity and will accelerate the economic development of the state and it will be among the power stations in the country that meet all the environment friendly criteria.

Electrification of railway line also inaugurated
Apart from this, the Prime Minister also inaugurated the new railway line between Manoharabad and Siddipet and electrification of the railway line between Dharmabad and Manoharabad. He also inaugurated the electrification of the railway line from Nizamabad in Telangana to Mahabubnagar and Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh and also flagged off the Siddipet-Secunderabad-Siddipet rail service. On this occasion, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of 20 blocks of intensive care facilities across the state under the Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, as part of efforts to accelerate health infrastructure in Telangana. These blocks are Adilabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Jaishankar Bhupalpally, Jogulamba Gadwal, Hyderabad, Khammam, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Mahabubnagar (Bedrapalli), Mulugu, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Narayanpet, Nirmal, Rajanna Sircilla, Rangareddy (Maheshwaram), Suryapet, Pedapalli. , Vikarabad and Warangal (Narasampet) districts.
While addressing a public rally in Nizamabad, Telangana, PM Modi has made a scathing attack on BRS. PM Modi said that the BRS government has broken all its promises made to the farmers of Telangana. But in the last few years we have transferred approximately Rs 10,000 crore to the bank accounts of 40 lakh farmers. PM Modi said that turmeric was produced under the One District, One Product scheme and it is being promoted in Nizamabad district. As per our promise to turmeric farmers, National Turmeric Board will be formed.
