PMUY: LPG cylinder cheaper by Rs 300 under PM Ujjwala scheme, big decision of Modi cabinet

PMUY: A big decision of Modi cabinet has come. The government has increased the subsidy amount for the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana from Rs 200 to Rs 300 per LPG cylinder. Union Minister Anurag Thakur said this while talking to the media regarding the cabinet decision. At the same time, it has been decided in the cabinet that Central Tribal University will be built in Telangana at a cost of Rs 889 crore.

Important decisions taken in the cabinet

Giving information about the decisions taken in the cabinet, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said in a press conference that many important decisions have been taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by PM Modi. Under which the Central Government is giving an additional subsidy of Rs 100 on LPG cylinder. Along with this, approval has also been given to open Central Tribal University in Telangana. At the same time, the cabinet has also approved the formation of Central Turmeric Board.

Cylinder will be available for Rs 600

Today i.e. on Wednesday, Modi government has announced to increase the subsidy for the beneficiaries of Ujjwala scheme from Rs 200 per cylinder to Rs 300. Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur gave this information after the cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Let us tell you, Ujjwala beneficiaries currently pay Rs 703 for a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder, while its market price is Rs 903. After the decision of the Union Cabinet, they will get the cylinder for Rs 603.
