Minister in-charge Banna Gupta said in the concluding speech that he was hurt by the allegations leveled against him in the meeting. He will meet the Chief Minister on Monday and inform him about his decision to step down. Will also appeal to the in-charge of Jharkhand Congress to remove him from the post of in-charge of Dhanbad Lok Sabha. Saying this the minister left the meeting. After the minister left in anger, state Congress working president cum former minister Jaleshwar Mahato, Lok Sabha constituency coordinator Ajay Dubey, Brajendra Prasad Singh, District President Santosh Singh and many leaders reached the Circuit House. Everyone urged the minister to withdraw his resignation. The workers also surrounded the minister’s car and demanded withdrawal of his resignation.
