Lucknow: The UP Cabinet has approved to develop five bus stands including Lucknow, Prayagraj, Agra, Ghaziabad on the lines of airports. Preparations are underway to lay the foundation stone for it during Navratri by CM Yogi Adityanath. Apart from this, 19 other proposals have also been approved by the UP Cabinet.
It was told in the press conference after the cabinet meeting that in the first phase, five bus stands including Lucknow will come under this project. There is a possibility of the Chief Minister laying the foundation stone of five bus stands including Vibhutikhand Gomtinagar, Agra Fort, Prayagraj Civil Lines, Ghaziabad Kaushambi of Lucknow during Navratri.
Apart from this, 18 other bus stands will also be developed on the lines of the airport. This includes Sahibabad Bus Station Depot Workshop, Bulandshahr, Agra Transport Nagar and Idgah, Mathura Old Bus Stand, Kanpur Central Jhakarkati, Varanasi Cantt Bus Stand, Prayagraj Zero Road, Mirzapur Vindhyachal Bus Stand, Amausi Bus Station Roadways Workshop Lucknow, in front of Charbagh Railway Station. Tender will soon be floated for the bus stand, Rae Bareli Depot Workshop, Bareilly, Sohrabgate Meerut, Garh Mukteshwar, Rasulabad of Aligarh, the bus stand located on Ayodhya National Highway, the bus stand in front of Gorakhpur Railway Station.
