20 IPS and 20 IAS officers were transferred in the first week of October.
Transfer of officers is going on before the assembly elections in Rajasthan. The Rajasthan government on Monday night transferred 20 officers each of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and the Indian Police Service (IPS). District Magistrates of five districts and Superintendents of Police of six districts have been changed. Three IAS officers have been given additional charge. Two Deputy Inspector General of Police level officers have also been transferred. According to the order issued by the Personnel Department, the District Magistrates of Kekdi, Tonk, Chittorgarh, Jhunjhunu, Khairthal have been changed. According to the order, Dr. Aarushi Ajay Malik has been appointed Divisional Commissioner, Jaipur while Dr. Manisha Arora has been appointed Commissioner in the Transport Department. Vishwa Mohan Sharma has been appointed District Magistrate of Kekdi, while Gaurav Aggarwal has been appointed District Magistrate of Chittorgarh, Hanuman Mal Dhaka of Khairthal, Bachanesh Kumar Aggarwal of Jhunjhunu and Omprakash Bairwa as District Magistrate of Tonk.
