Here petrol is being sold at Rs 106.03 and diesel at Rs 92.76 per litre. The price of petrol in Chennai has been reduced by 44 paise. Prices changed in these cities also
After the release of new rates by oil companies, changes in the prices of petrol and diesel were seen in many other cities. In Agra, petrol is being sold 38 paise cheaper at Rs 96.10 and diesel is being sold 37 paise cheaper at Rs 89.27 per litre. Whereas, there has been a slight decline in the prices of petrol and diesel in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The price of petrol became cheaper by 10 paise at Rs 96.47 and diesel became cheaper by 10 paise at Rs 89.66 per litre. However, petrol has become costlier by 41 paise and diesel by 38 paise in Noida. After this, petrol is being sold at Rs 97.00 and diesel at Rs 90.14 per litre. A slight decline in the prices of petrol and diesel has also been seen in Ajmer, Pune and Gurugram. In Ajmer, the price of petrol has fallen by 19 paise to Rs 108.17 and the price of diesel has fallen by 17 paise to Rs 93.44 per litre. Whereas, in Pune the price of petrol has decreased by 45 paise, after which it is being sold cheaper by Rs 105.77 and diesel by 43 paise and is being sold at Rs 92.30 per litre. Petrol has become cheaper by 15 paise in Gurugram. Its price is Rs 96.89 and diesel is becoming cheaper by 15 paise at Rs 89.76 per litre.
Crude oil futures prices fall due to weak spot demand
Crude oil prices fell 0.77 percent to Rs 6,963 per barrel in futures trade on Thursday as traders cut their deals following weak spot demand.
