This special train will make 377 trips between October 18 and December 11. Of these, 351 trips will be towards the eastern part of the country and 26 trips will be towards the northern region.
Northern Railway General Manager Shobhan Chaudhary told reporters, “Apart from these 34 trains, additional coaches will be added to the existing 69 trains.” Overall, Northern Railway will provide 5.5 lakh additional berths and seats in view of the increase in passenger movement during the festive season.

Northern Railway has advised prospective passengers to get details of the special train from its social media handles and inquiry offices. According to Chaudhary, due to increased demand during this period, additional arrangements have been made.

Chaudhary said that I believe that additional arrangements will meet the increased demand. We will keep an eye on the situation and if we feel there is a need for more special trains, we will definitely consider that also. For now, I think this is enough.

He said that apart from operating special trains, we have decided to open special ticket windows and operationalize all existing windows to avoid long queues at the booking counter.

On questions about timely completion of journey of these special trains, Choudhary said that they (railway personnel) will follow the scheduled arrival and departure time as much as possible and there will be no delay due to other important trains.
Chaudhary said that these additional trains are as important for us as other trains and I will assure all passengers planning to travel by special trains that they will follow the timetable.
