After inaugurating 511 ‘Pramod Mahajan Rural Skill Development Centers’ in Maharashtra through video link, Narendra Modi said that state governments should prepare skill development programs in such a way that they help in the development of the country. According to a government statement, these Rural Skill Development Centers, named after former Union Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader late Pramod Mahajan, are being established in 34 rural districts of Maharashtra. The Prime Minister said in his address that we should find out in which areas skill development will strengthen the country.
