These include 14 children, 38 elderly people and the remaining youth. Maximum 77 people have been found dengue positive in Pataliputra region. Apart from this, 14 patients in Azimabad, 31 in Bankipur, 11 in Kankarbagh, 22 in Nutan Rajdhani, 2 in Patna City, 4 in Phulwarisharif, 5 in Danapur and the remaining patients are residents of rural areas.

Aedes mosquito larvae found at 112 places

At present 106 patients are admitted in dengue wards in PMCH, IGIMS, NMCH and Patna AIIMS. Of these, 19 patients are undergoing treatment in ICU. 14 patients have recovered within 24 hours, after which they have been discharged from the dengue ward. According to Civil Surgeon Dr. Shravan Kumar, within the last two days, Aedes mosquito larvae were found at 112 places in the district, which were immediately destroyed. Pesticides have been sprayed at these places. Awareness programs are being organized for prevention and vigilance against dengue and malaria. So far, a record seven people, including a government doctor, have died due to dengue.

Three new patients found in Madhubani, number increased to 71

Dengue comes in the category of very serious diseases among mosquito borne diseases in Madhubani. Presently dengue is going on in the entire state including the district.
