Only after their consent, studies of Inter and some PG courses conducted in three constituent colleges of Dhanbad and Bokaro will be resumed in the colleges. This information was given by BBMKU Vice Chancellor in-charge Prof. Pawan Poddar in a press conference on Friday. Answering the question asked in this regard, he said that he is personally in favor of resuming the intermediate and PG studies, but this is a policy decision. Therefore the permission of the Governor is necessary. In the press conference he explained his priorities.
Will start free short term course
Vice Chancellor Mr. Poddar talked about promoting employment-oriented education. For this, six-month certificate courses will be started. For this, courses like GST, Tally and e-commerce will be started with the cooperation of institutions like ICWA by signing MoUs with them. There are also plans to start courses like fire safety and industrial safety. Will also appeal for cooperation from students in the development of the university. He will urge every student who completes his studies here to donate at least one book to the university library.
Seminar will be organized in five departments
vice chancellor Said that in the next five months, seminars will be organized in five departments of the university including Economics, English and Management Studies. Besides, Inter College Science Quiz will be organized at PK Roy Memorial College, Sports Quiz at RS More College Govindpur and Commerce Quiz at SSLNT Mahila College.
Placement and counseling cells will be created
The Vice Chancellor said that the profile and CV of the university and faculty will be prepared and uploaded on the website. Also, various corporate companies will be invited for campus selection. Placement and counseling cells will be formed in universities and colleges.

The Vice Chancellor admitted that till now there is no laboratory in the new campus of the University. In such a situation, students are becoming post graduate without practical. Soon efforts will be made to allocate funds for the construction of the laboratory and making the library up to 12-B level.

Before the press conference, the Vice Chancellor held separate meetings with university officials and principals of all the colleges and sought cooperation in the development of the university.
