Order for payment of remuneration as per the rate fixed by the state government
Sanjay Kumar, Jamshedpur: Tata Steel has issued a notification asking its vendors to pay their employees the minimum wages fixed by the state government. The new rate of remuneration payment has been fixed by the government from October 1, 2023. All the vendors have been asked to pay the pay scale as per the prescribed rules. Under the agreement signed on March 1, 1978, the contract laborers have been asked to pay an additional 90 paise per day in the basic salary and 50 paise per day in the name of medical facilities. According to the agreement reached at the level of the then Commissioner of Bihar Government on August 10, 1990, the contract employees who work six days a week have been asked to pay an additional Rs 1.40 a week.
