Dhanbad Bandh News: Indefinite Dhanbad Bandh back, Chamber’s decision after talks with DC-SSP

In protest against the attack on traders in Dhanbad, all the chambers together called for an indefinite strike and there was an unprecedented strike on the first day. All shops remained closed throughout the day. The entire business came to a standstill. In the evening, the Deputy Commissioner and Senior SP held a meeting with the Chamber officials and urged them to call off the bandh. After a long meeting, the chamber has called off the bandh. This means that all the markets of Dhanbad will open from tomorrow. Life will become normal. A meeting was held with businessmen and Chamber of Commerce officials. He was informed about the ongoing police action. Police will take further action on many fronts also. We are working to eliminate crime in the coming times. There were many other topics which were discussed. We are taking action to strengthen law and order in the district. Some SOP has been shared with them and it has been said that if they have any information, then share it with the administration. The Deputy Commissioner has said that we are making preparations to ensure that businessmen get adequate security. On our request, the businessmen have agreed to open all the establishments in the interest of the people of the district.
