The Ministry of Education of India has announced that an office of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be opened in the UAE. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who was on a visit to UAE, has approved this after discussing with his UAE counterpart. Speaking to the media in Abu Dhabi, Pradhan said that UAE-India relations are in a very good condition today. In such a situation, there are strong relations between India and UAE as a strategic partnership, especially in education and skills. Pradhan also said that India is also opening an IIT in UAE. He said that many major universities of India are already functioning here. Pradhan also said that more universities can be opened here in the coming time.

It is noteworthy that more than one hundred schools of National Board of Education (CBSE) are working in UAE. In such a situation, opening of CBSE office is very important. During his visit, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also met UAE Education Minister Ahmed Al Falasi. During the meeting, the two Ministers also signed an MoU to strengthen the existing educational cooperation to ease the movement of students and teachers as well as various other initiatives.

Pradhan said that UAE is a global economic hub and India is a global talent hub, and both sides also agreed to work together towards building a knowledge bridge to strengthen their civilizational connect. During this, the Union Education Ministry issued a statement saying that the ministers of both the countries reviewed bilateral activities in education and skill development. Apart from this, many more issues in this area were discussed.
