Jamshedpur, Kumar Anand: ADJ-1 Rajendra Sinha court On Friday, it sentenced Tata Steel worker Vishwajeet Pradhan, convicted in the murder case of Dharmendra Singh (interest trader) of Kashidih, to life imprisonment and also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000. A total of eight people including the research officer testified in the case. In the FIR and case investigation, it was revealed that on February 10, 2022, money trader Dharmendra Singh had gone out to his Kashidih residence after performing puja like every day to recover his interest, but did not return home during the day, whereas every day during the day Used to return home at the appointed time.
Police had arrested the accused car driver
It is said that on February 10, a WhatsApp message came on the mobile phone of Dharmendra Singh’s son Gaurav Singh that Dharmendra Singh has been kidnapped. The kidnappers had demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh for the release of Dharmendra Singh. Regarding this, son Gaurav Singh had filed a case against the person doing WhatsApp in Sakchi police station. The day after the incident i.e. on 11 February 2011, Kadma police found a dead body in a big bag of cricket kit inside the trunk of the car, which was identified as Dharmendra Singh of Kashidih, while the police arrested the car driver Vishwajeet Pradhan on the spot. During the investigation of this case, the police had found that murderer Vishwajit Pradhan had taken a loan of Rs 11 lakh from deceased Dharmendra Singh. Dharmendra Singh was continuously putting pressure on to recover the principal and interest amount of Rs 11 lakh. Troubled by the loan of Rs 11 lakh and interest payment every month, Vishwajit Pradhan kidnapped Dharmendra Singh and killed him.
