At the same time, the total number of vacancies for the second inter level combined competitive examination will also increase. For this, instructions have been given to the departments to clear the reservation roster and send the number of vacant posts. Along with this, all the departments have been asked to provide the requisition for the vacant posts of Office Attendant and Office Attendant (Special). The Chief Secretary himself is monitoring the action to fill the vacancies in all the departments. For this, a review was also conducted through video conferencing under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary.

Requisition for vacant posts sought from Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Divisional Commissioner and DM:

General Administration Department has invited applications from all departments for vacant posts for the fourth graduate level joint competitive examination. Its department has sent letters to the Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Divisional Commissioner and District Magistrate of all the departments. On the basis of vacancies, Bihar Staff Selection Commission will release vacancies for appointment to graduate level posts. It is noteworthy that till now three graduate level competitive examinations have been conducted. It was said in the letter that based on the situation as on April 1st, the vacancy for the competitive examination will come in the next two months.

Applications have been made for 12199 posts of the second inter level joint competitive examination, the number of posts will increase further:

There will be an increase in the total number of vacancies for the Second Inter Level Combined Competitive Examination conducted by Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC). The General Administration Department has directed all departments, divisional commissioners and district magistrates to provide the number of vacant posts. After the departments send revised vacancies or vacancies for new posts, the General Administration Department will inform the Commission about it. These vacancies will also be included in the vacancies of this advertisement by the Commission. At present, vacancies for 12199 posts have been sent to BSSC. In this, 5503 posts have been identified for general category, 1201 for EWS, 1377 for backward class, 2083 for extremely backward class, 91 for Scheduled Tribe, 1540 for Scheduled Tribe and 404 for backward class women. 534 of Junior Regional Investigator in Economics and Statistics Directorate, 48 in Horticulture Directorate of Lower Division Clerk, 38 in Directorate of Cultural Affairs, 69 in Directorate of Prosecution, four in Bihar Fire Service, 281 in Science and Technology Department, 127 in Prison and Correctional Services Inspectorate. BSSC will also recruit for the vacant posts of Office Attendant and Office Attendant (Special):

According to the instructions issued by the General Administration Department, recruitment to the vacant posts of Office Attendant and Office Attendant (Special) will also be done through the competitive examination conducted by BSSC. This will be a regular appointment. For this also, after getting the roster clearance of the vacant posts, instructions have been given to make the reservation category wise requisition available to the General Administration Department.

Recruitment in health department also

Here, State Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav had recently said that jobs and employment will be provided on more than 1.5 lakh posts in the health department. According to reports, since then the requisition for appointment to 4568 posts has been sent to the Technical Service Commission. Which includes 1539 posts of Pharmacist, 1098 posts of Operation Assistant, 803 posts of X-ray Technician, 163 posts of ECG Technician besides 967 posts of Clerk for various medical college hospitals. Apart from this, BPSC has also issued the notification for the second phase of teacher appointment examination. Under which about 70000 posts of teachers are to be filled.
