The market of speculations along with rhetoric is hot before the assembly in Madhya Pradesh. People are making many speculations about former Congress leader and current Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. After the victory of BJP, the news of his becoming the Chief Minister is included in the conversation of the people. Meanwhile, English website NDTV has published a news based on his conversation in which Scindia is seen saying that I am just a servant of BJP…I am not involved in the race for Chief Minister. During the conversation, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has said that he is not involved in any race to become the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. There is no question of him becoming the Chief Minister because he has always been and will always be a party worker. Let us tell you that voting is to be held in Madhya Pradesh on 17th November while the counting of votes will take place on 3rd December. That means on December 3 it will become clear which party will form the government in the state. After a few days, the new CM of the state will also be announced.
Scindia family serves only the society
Attacking Congress, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that Congress can do anything for power. This kind of race happens in his party. Before the elections in Congress, there are eight leaders who are in the race for the post of Chief Minister. BJP is a party of workers. We are all workers and will remain so.. He said that the entire BJP in Madhya Pradesh is contesting the elections under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi… I am not in the race for the post of CM… I am a servant. Let us tell you that a similar statement of Scindia had come on November 2. He had said that Scindia family should not be included in the race for the chair. The Scindia family is not involved in any such race. The Scindia family works day and night with a passion for development, progress and social service.
During the conversation, Jyotiraditya Scindia strongly attacked Congress. He accused Congress of corruption and said that it is also busy in creating holes in the opposition alliance. Congress is trying to get OBC votes in its favor in which it is not going to succeed. Scindia further said that what is the OBC factor? Congress thinks that people cannot understand them? There are 27 OBC ministers in Modi ji’s cabinet…The Union Minister mentioned the scam in 2G spectrum allocation under UPA and said that Congress’s (guarantee) is not only 2G, they have the capability to do 5G. Further attacking his old party, Scindia said that whatever abuses the Congress gives me, I welcome it… I have no complaint against the Congress. Scindia said that he is confident that BJP will form a government with full majority in Madhya Pradesh.
Congress government was formed after the 2018 assembly elections.
Let us discuss here that no party got a clear majority in the 2018 assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh. Congress had won 114 seats while formed a coalition government under the leadership of Kamal Nath with the support of SP, BSP and independent MLAs. However, in March 2020, the Kamal Nath government fell due to the rebellion of his supporting MLAs from the Congress under the leadership of Jyotiraditya Scindia. After this, BJP government was once again formed in the state under the leadership of Shivraj Singh Chauhan. The special thing here this time is that Scindia, who last time sought votes for Congress, is seen appealing to people to vote in favor of BJP this time.
Congress is giving a strong fight
This time Congress seems to be preparing to give a tough fight in Madhya Pradesh. Congress is working on a different plan to corner BJP on every front. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has held a rally in the state. She had strongly attacked BJP in the Gwalior rally but was seen refraining from directly targeting Jyotiraditya Scindia.
